Flutter Team Announces Global '2026 Tour' with Key Events Across Continents

The Flutter team will hit the road in 2026, scheduling over 20 events worldwide to engage directly with developers, showcase the upcoming Dart 3.12 and Flutter 3.44 releases, and gather community feedback.

Flutter Team Announces Global '2026 Tour' with Key Events Across Continents

Starting with Google Cloud Next in Las Vegas in April, the tour spans major tech conferences, regional meetups, and developer-focused summits across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. The full schedule includes stops at Google I/O, Fluttercon, and community-led gatherings.

“Some of the most impactful moments of my career have come from community-led events,” said a Flutter team spokesperson. “We are committed to being transparent and open, and hearing from developers directly helps us build the most productive app framework.”

Background

Flutter is Google’s open-source UI toolkit for building natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. The 2026 tour coincides with the release of Dart 3.12 and Flutter 3.44, which promise performance improvements and new features for full‑stack applications.

The developer relations team has organized customer advisory boards, meetup networks, and programs like Flutteristas and the Flutter Consultants Program to foster community engagement. The tour aims to expand these efforts to more regions.

What This Means

Developers worldwide will have multiple opportunities to meet Flutter core team members, see live demos, and provide feedback in person. This direct interaction is intended to shape future versions of the framework.

“Community thrives in community‑led events,” the spokesperson added. “Whether you’re in Stockholm, Tokyo, or Cancún, we want to hear from you.”
